Terms and Conditions
Article 1: Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

Company: UCACS, registered with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKF). Legal owner of the brand P.Scent

Client: The natural or legal person entering into a Rental Agreement with the Company.

Rental Agreement: The agreement concerning the temporary use of a Scent Machine and related products.

Scent Machine: The device, including all its components, supplied by the Company for rental.

Consumer: A Client who is a natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business.
Article 2: Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer, quotation, and Rental Agreement between the Company and a Client.

Deviations from these conditions are only valid if explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Article 3: The Rental Agreement

The Rental Agreement is established for a fixed period once the Client accepts a written (including digital) offer from the Company.

The Company will ensure the Scent Machine is in good working order at the start of the rental period and will act with the due care of a good contractor.
Article 4: Client's Obligations

The Client must use the Scent Machine with due care, following the Company's operating and safety instructions.

The Client is obligated to provide a safe, suitable, and accessible location with a functioning power outlet for the Scent Machine.

The Client is not permitted to open, modify, or repair the Scent Machine themselves. Any malfunctions must be reported to the Company immediately.
Article 5: Prices, Payment, and Duration

Our prices are in Surinamese Dollars (SRD) and include taxes (BTW), unless stated otherwise. The price includes the rental of the device and a predetermined volume of scent oils.

Payment must be made monthly in advance, unless a different period has been agreed upon.

The initial Rental Agreement is entered into for a period of 12 months. After this period, the agreement will be tacitly renewed for successive periods of one month, unless terminated by either party with a notice period of one month.
Article 6: Liability

The Company is liable for direct damage that is a result of a failure attributable to the Company in the performance of the Rental Agreement. Our liability is always limited to the amount paid out by our liability insurance.

The Client is liable for all damage to or loss of the Scent Machine during the rental period, except for normal wear and tear or technical defects that are not the Client's fault.

The Company is not liable for any personal injury or material damage resulting from the improper use or placement of the Scent Machine by the Client or third parties.
Article 7: Complaints and Disputes

Complaints about the Scent Machine or the service must be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time.

Surinamese law applies to all our agreements.

Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Suriname, Paramaribo.
